Understanding Data Roles

When you use Estiq, we have distinct roles under GDPR. This diagram shows how data flows and who is responsible for what.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Service: Your account and client data are essential for the calendar and client management functions to work.
  • To Communicate With You: We use your contact information to send service-related updates, invoices, and support messages.
  • To Improve Our Service: We analyze usage data to understand what features are popular and how we can make the service better.

Data Sharing and Sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party services (sub-processors) who help us provide our service, such as cloud hosting providers and payment processors. All our sub-processors are vetted for GDPR compliance. We will not share your data for any other purpose unless required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We will delete your data upon request or after a reasonable period of inactivity, in line with our data retention policies.

1. User Accounts

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
  • Registration: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information updated.
  • Security: You are responsible for all activities under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Fees and Subscription

  • Plans & Billing: The Service is offered on a subscription basis as detailed on our pricing page. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the end of the current billing period.
  • Right of Withdrawal: If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your initial purchase without giving any reason. However, if you begin using the Service during this period, you may be required to pay an amount proportional to the service provided until you have communicated your withdrawal.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on the rights of others, to transmit malicious code, or to send spam. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Service.

4. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you are in material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, you will have a reasonable period (e.g., 30 days) to export your User Content, after which we may delete it in accordance with our data retention policies.

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weldme OÜ disclaims all warranties. Our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months. This does not limit our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
  • Dispute Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you have the right to bring a claim before the competent courts in Estonia or the courts of your EU member state of residence.
  • Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): For consumers, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform, which you can access at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

7. Complaints & Contact

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As Weldme OÜ is based in Estonia, our lead supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
